We are gradually re-opening. More people are eligible to get the vaccine every day.
This is a massive relief for everyone and a collective feeling of “light at the end of the tunnel”.
We’ve been stuck in our own little bubble for over a year now, forced indoors. Now this bubble will disappear, and we’ll soon be able to resume a normal life. One not quite the same as it was in 2019. One still with many unknowns.
As wonderful as this progress is, it’s also destabilizing. We’ve become used to this awkward quarantine, even if we didn’t like it. Now it’s going away and a big world is in front of us…but one that’s been changed, maybe forever.
Be mindful for yourself and those around you that while we are approaching post-quarantine, which is good news, we’re all still navigating change that’s destabilizing to us. We are continuing to experience something we haven’t faced before in our lifetimes.
