A quick collection of articles I’ve read this week that I’ve found interesting.
- If you haven’t followed NFTs, here’s why you should start – TechCrunch – not loving the hype around cryptocurrency as a speculative investment these days, but this idea of NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) is fascinating. - How to start an email newsletter: tips on platforms, writing style, and design – I subscribe to Khe’s newsletter and love his writing style. This article discusses how to run an email newsletter, which Khe seems to have a mastery of.
- Creating Impact When You’re Overwhelmed – zen habits – I like Leo’s discussion of accepting the chaos that we are all collectively dealing with right now, and seeking to make an impact through incremental actions, not to take on one big thing all at once.
- Design Choices of Breath of the Wild – Anil’s discussion of some of the more nuanced design choices in Breath of the Wild points out how they make a big difference in such an incredible game.
- First Two Steps to Creating Resilience – zen habits – good short article on simple ways you can cultivate resilience in tough times.
- The Blog Era Was Perfectly Imperfect – interesting article on music discovery in the era before music streaming services took hold of the industry.
- Deadeus Game Boy horror game | Engadget – I grew up with a Game Boy. I just love that we are still seeing games made for it. Seeing the game’s box and game design brings back a bunch of nostalgia, even if this game appears to be a little darker than what I’ve played as a kid.
